{"id":2175,"date":"2016-08-30T15:09:46","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T13:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/acercacomunicacion.es.mialias.net\/project\/reds-spanish-network-for-sustainable-development\/"},"modified":"2023-10-11T15:47:00","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T13:47:00","slug":"reds-spanish-network-for-sustainable-development","status":"publish","type":"portfolio_item","link":"https:\/\/acercacomunicacion.es\/en\/project\/reds-spanish-network-for-sustainable-development\/","title":{"rendered":"REDS (Spanish Network for Sustainable Development)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/reds-sdsn.es\/\"><strong>Spanish Sustainable Development Network (REDS)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;was founded in Spain in 2015 with the mission of mobilising and raising awareness among society, public institutions and the business community about the<a href=\"http:\/\/reds-sdsn.es\/que-hacemos\/objetivos-de-desarrollo-sostenible\"><strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;set out by the United Nations in its 2015-2030 Development Agenda. The&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/unsdsn.org\/\"><strong>SDSN<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;national network works to ensure that the SDGs are incorporated into future policies and embedded in universities, research centres, businesses and Spanish civil society, with the aim of working together for increasingly real sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acerca Communication<\/strong>&nbsp;collaborated with&nbsp;<strong>REDS<\/strong>&nbsp;in its launch and first steps. Initially, we were responsible for disseminating the presentation of the network at the Telef\u00f3nica Foundation by the presidents&nbsp;<strong>Miguel \u00c1ngel<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Moratinos<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Teresa Ribera<\/strong>, and developed a communication strategy for specific media in the political, environmental and social fields. Subsequently, the web and social network launch was managed, and a stable community was achieved in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/REDS.SDSN\">Facebook<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/reds_sdsn\">Twitter<\/a>&nbsp;profiles, which has been maintained ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the informative milestones that emerged in the consolidation of REDS (favoured by the Paris Climate Summit&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cop21paris.org\/\">COP21<\/a>) were communicated and work was done to promote courses, conferences and meetings held by SDSN or related institutions, with the intention of being present in the media to achieve the attention desired by the client.
